Our thanks to Kylie Grills from Frankincense & Myrrh for her generous support of the Foundation. Kylie donated to the Foundation part of the proceeds from every Frankincense & Myrrh candle sold and raised enough money to enable us to assist another family struggling to pay their bills. Thanks Kylie.

Terrific support received from the CMV Staff Charitable Foundation

The Board of the Lisa Fahey Foundation is delighted to advise that the Foundation is the recipient of a donation from the CMV Staff Charitable Foundation. The generous support of the staff at CMV will enable us to continue to assist those families who are in difficult financial circumstances whilst mum or dad is receiving treatment for cancer. Board members, Steve Fahey, Tim Pearce and Jan Schultz met with Drew Ford, Chair of the CMV Staff Charitable Foundation for the cheque presentation.

Help Raise Funds

Would you like to help raise much needed funds for the Lisa Fahey Foundation?

You can help in several ways: hold a chook raffle at your work or nominate us as the recipient of funds raised at your office casual day. Perhaps send your Christmas wishes to family and friends electronically instead of writing out dozens of Christmas cards and then donate the money you save on cards and postage to the Foundation. Are you having a party to celebrate a special occasion but don’t want your guests to buy you gifts? Why not ask your guests to donate to us in lieu of gifts. All donations over $2 to the Lisa Fahey Foundation are tax deductible.

2014 City-Bay Fun Run

Our 2014 City Bay team helped raise enough money to help another 3 families to keep the debt collectors from their door.

Thanks to everyone who took part in the team and helped us to assist those in need.

BankSA Mother’s Day Donation

We’re delighted to report that BankSA’s Mother’s Day charity initiative raised $3,838 for the Foundation. BankSA donated all ATM operator fees collected on Mother’s Day to the Foundation in memory of Lisa (who was a member of BankSA’s executive team). From the Foundation and all the families who will be assisted with this generous donation – thanks BankSA.

Always a fantastic day with on-course hospitality, entertainment, a superb lunch, charity auction and a luxury Lexus to the first person to hit a hole in one! All proceeds from the golf day will benefit the Lisa Fahey Foundation and one other charity. Sunday Session Went Down a Treat!

Thank you to all those supporters who attended the Foundation’s “Sunday session” held in the fantastic surroundings of the courtyard at The Lion. The Foundation’s guests enjoyed delicious food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere. The event raised enough money to pay another couple of overdue bills for a family who has a mum or dad with cancer. Thanks to those who attended the Sunday Session and to those people who donated in lieu of attendance. Thanks also to Jo West of West Creative, Andrew Svencis and his terrific staff at The Lion for their help with this event.

Tickets are $50 per person includes finger food, bubbly, wine, beer and soft drink

Have a chat and chill out with good food and wine and help families who
have a parent or carer with cancer.

Many people now send e-cards instead of paper Christmas cards and use the purchase and postage savings to donate to their favourite charity.

Lisa Fahey Foundation now gives you the same opportunity, with a quirky and festive little “chook” leading the way!
